The duo of Sammie and Liquorose were the winners of the first arena game of the season.
The BBNaija arena games are one of the highlights of the show and many viewers look forward to it.
The housemates were divided into two groups for the tug-of-war before the individual game.
Group two comprising of Pere, Liqourose, Whitemoney among others won the tug-of-war.
For the game, the housemates have to go over hurdles, climb a hill and pull a tyre to the finish line.
Two winners have to emerge, one male and one female, at the end of the game.
Sammie had the fastest time for the males while Liquorose had the fastest time for the females.
Both housemates were crowned winners of the first arena game of the season.
Earlier in the day, there were arguments between Jackie B and Maria which resulted in a shouting match.
This led to Jackie B threatening to nominate Maria for eviction, even though she doesn’t know what will happen.
There was also the issue of Angel and Beatrice being confronted by Liqourose over their midnight gist.
The ladies said it was just gist and not gossip as they were not whispering while speaking.
The house was heated all morning, but it ended with the housemates jubilating and dancing after the game.
It also seems Sammie and Angel have reconciled as they could be seen laughing and sharing a joke.
The following housemates are up for eviction tomorrow, Whitemoney, Yousef, Yerins, Beatrice and Niyi.
At least one of them would be leaving on Sunday as voting lines are already closed.
