Ole has been under fire since the loss to Leicester City over the weekend but Ronaldo saves United from another loss.
Manchester United were on the brink of another loss to Atalanta in the Champions League.
Ole’s side had an impressive away record before losing to Leicester City 4-2 in the Premier League.
Along came the criticisms of how he wasn’t really the man for the job and the team needs to start winning.
Pogba also voiced out that things need to change for the better.
Maybe that was why Pogba was benched in the game against Atalanta with Fred taking his position.
With Rashford now fit, he starts for the Red Devils alongside Greenwood and Ronaldo.
However, things did not go their way as Atalanta took the lead and were 2 goals up in the game.
United went into halftime two goals down with a lot of work to do.
In the second half, everything changed and it started with a Rashford goal in the 53rd minute.
It was looking like that kind of night yet again as Atalanta kept dominating the game.
Magure then levelled the game with just 15minutes to go and it looks like Atalanta are barely holding on.
It looked like it would end in a draw as many United fans already felt angry by the performance.
With 9 minuted to go, Ronaldo connects with a cross from Luke Shaw to give United the deserved lead.
Once again Ronaldo saves United and gives Ole a little breathing space at least.
From trying to win a game to now topping the group, their fortunes changed with that goal.
The game ended United 3-2 Atalanta, nobody expected that kind of game.
With Ronaldo’s recent performance, can he still lead this team to a title? Only time will tell.
