Following the thrashing by Liverpool, reports from Old Trafford is Ole is staying as Manchester United manager.
This might not be the news many fans are expecting, but it is the news they have to deal with.
Ole Gunnar Solksjaer joined Manchester United in December 2018 as caretaker manager.
He was later announced as manager in March 2019 after a run of good results.
Ever since then, the performance of the team has been inconsistent with fans being vocal about it.
A lot of fans believed it was Ed Woodward, the CEO of United that was the problem.
However, with the continuous inconsistency of the team, Ole is now feeling the heat.
After the embarrassing loss to Liverpool at home, Ole said “we have hit a brick wall”.
The board have now thrown its weight behind the manager despite rumors of a new manager taking over.
Zidane and Conte are being linked to the job but there is no concrete news just yet.
Ole is staying and that is the loudest voice right now coming out of Old Trafford.
He now has 3 games to prove he is still at the wheels or it would be difficult to hold on much longer.
