The Chief press secretary of the state, Gboyega Akosile shared photos of the governor’s meeting on Twitter.
The photo sparked reactions from Nigerians on social media.
Some believed this is just a ploy ahead of the 2023 election as the governor will be seeking a second term.
The governor was said to be heartbroken to see the girls on the street instead of in school.
He also revealed he will take responsibility of their upbringing and education.

Sanwo-Olu has been criticized ever since the Lekki Toll gate shooting and youths continue to demand justice.
