A Nigerian mother of 14-year-old has accused the Nigerian immigration of stealing from her daughter.
The entrepreneur took to Twitter to reveal what transpired between her teenage daughter and the Immigration officers.
According to her, the 14-year-old was traveling all by herself and the officers decided to take advantage of that.

In her words, she wrote
My 14 year old daughter, FOURTEEN, is traveling by herself. Immigration took ALL her money before they let her go. They took money from a fucking 14 year. Didn’t even leave her with 1kobo or 1 thousand naira so she can buy food while she waits. How WICKED!!!! @FAAN_Official“
While some people were angry at the incident, some others blamed the mother.
Some tweeps said the mother of 14-year-old shouldn’t have let her travel herself.
She called the attention of FAAN and hopefully the issue will be addressed.
If parents cannot trust the Immigration to at least make sure travellers are safe then something is wrong.
