The Atlanta Hawks take game 4 as they were looking to salvage the series at home without Trae Young who is still out injured after stepping on an official’s foot.
With the way the Bucks played Game 3, many analysts and pundits expected the Bucks to at least put up a fight and take Game 4, but it wasn’t to be as the Hawks had all the answers while the Giannis and his teammates look like they didn’t want to be on the court.
It was a one sided game with Hawks leading by 25-22 in the first quarter. Bucks were giving away possession at almost every play while the Atlanta Hawks keep making shots from the 3-points arc.
Onyeka Okongwu was phenomenal as his defence on Giannis was spot on. The 2 time MVP could not make a bucket in the first quarter at all.
At half-time, the Hawks were already leading by 13 points with the Bucks having no answers to their offence. Matters became worse for the Bucks in the 3rd quarter when Giannis was finally making his shots only to get an hyperextended knee.
He was helped into the locker room but the positive take was that he could walk himself and later came back to the bench as the Hawks extended their lead to double digits.
The Hawks maintained their lead as the game eventually ended 110-88 with Bogdanovic scoring 20 points and Lou Williams scoring 20 points. The Bucks could not cope without Giannis who had 14 points before the injury while Jrue Holiday had 19 points and Middleton had 16 points.
Milwaukee Bucks will now head back home for game 5 and would have to prepare for a game without Giannis and try to make sure the Hawks are not on rampage as they were in Game 4.
