Egypt defeat Cameroon in the second semi-final to stage a final match against Senegal on Sunday.

Senegal qualified for their second AFCON final in a row after defeating Burkina Faso on Wednesday.

Hosts Cameroon were looking to get into the final after an impressive run so far.

The Pharoahs of Egypt had other plans as both teams showed their mettle.

The game was more intense on the touchline because of the coaches, especially from the Egyptians.

The centre referee sent off three coaching staff of the Egyptian team and that means they would not be in the finals.

The game saw little chances as Cameroon and Egypt could not break down each other’s defence.

The game ended goalless including the extra-time with the hosts having more shots on target.

Egyptian goalkeeper, Abou Gabal saved 2 penalties from the Cameroonians to secure a final place.

Cameroon could only score one penalty while Egypt scored all three spotkicks.

Egypt defeat Cameroon in front of their home fans and to the disappointment of their FA president, Samuel Eto’o.

Egypt will now face Senegal in the AFCON 2021 final, a showdown between club teammates, Salah and Mane.
