Premier League side, Arsenal sign White in a region of £50 million to complete the move from Brighton.
The Gunners seem to be doing more business in this season’s transfer window than ever before.
The club made the announcement on their social media pages as fans celebrate the new signing.
Arsenal sign White who is currently 23 years old and he completed the deal by having his medical on Friday.
Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta was excited about the signing as he said “Ben was a top target for us and it’s great that we’ve completed his signing.”
“He is an intelligent defender who is very comfortable with the ball at his feet and his style fits perfectly with us.” Arteta added.
Ben White was part of the England team for the Euros 2020 but did not make an appearance.
The former Brighton defender is Arsenal’s third signing this transfer window and he will be wearing the number 4 shirt.
Ben White also spoke about his move to Arsenal saying “I don’t think I needed too much convincing to be fair” as he revealed that he spoke to Arteta during the summer.
The 23-year-old would be a part of the rebuilding process which might be Arteta’s chance to prove his worth.
Arsenal fans would be excited about his prospects and the fact that he is still young.
